CBA Project in Madrid
The Círculo de Bellas Artes (CBA) is a private non-profit cultural entity based in Madrid’s Calle Alcalá, in Spain. Founded in 1880, since 1921 it has been declared a “Center for the Protection of Fine Arts and Public Utility”.
The cultural center is one of the most prestigious historical buildings in Madrid, and is in the midst of adaptation to the new European regulations on fire protection. Tecfire has been awarded this important project, among other reasons, because it has been the only company capable of providing all the product fire certifications required for the fire protection adaptation of the building according to EN standards.
Among the systems that Tecfire is going to supply and install on-site, the following should be highlighted: Steelfire series curtain wall systems with fire classification EI120; Steelfire series hinged door systems rated EI60 and EI90, and large size fixed partition systems from the Steelfire series with fire rating EI60 and 120. All this with the guarantee of quality and own certification of Tecfire.
