Orlando, FL – November 4, 2025 – At GlassBuild America 2025, Tecfire proudly announced the upcoming opening of its first U.S. manufacturing facility, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, marking a major milestone in the company’s North American expansion.
The new Tecfire USA factory represents a significant investment in local production and innovation, aimed at enhancing speed, efficiency, and service for architects, glaziers, and contractors across the United States and Canada.
“This is a defining moment for Tecfire,” said Jeremy Zimmerman, Managing Director for North America. “We’ve spent years building the foundation of trust and capability in this market. Establishing local manufacturing in Indianapolis allows us to serve our customers faster, reduce shipping and tariff costs, and expand our product range with true U.S.-made systems.”
The Indianapolis facility will house fabrication and assembly operations for Tecfire’s award-winning AS85 Aluminum series—fire-rated glass and framing systems known for combining safety, clarity, and design flexibility. The setup phase is already underway, with equipment installation and production line commissioning scheduled through 2025.

Tecfire anticipates formal manufacturing to begin by January 2026, initially focusing on aluminum fire-resistive doors and partitions, with future plans to expand into steel systems and custom architectural assemblies.
“GlassBuild America was the perfect venue to share this news,” Zimmerman added. “It’s a celebration of how far Tecfire has come and where we’re headed. With a backlog of projects in 2026 and beyond, our commitment to this market is stronger than ever.”
With this new facility, Tecfire continues to solidify its position as a global leader in fire-rated glass and framing innovation, combining European engineering excellence with U.S. manufacturing strength.
