This partnership marks another important step in Tecfire\u2019s continued expansion across North America, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of local service, technical expertise, and project support.<\/p>\n<p>At Tecfire, we believe that delivering industry-leading fire-resistive glass and framing systems requires more than just exceptional products\u2014it demands trusted local partners who understand the needs of architects, contractors, and glaziers from the ground up. QMI, led by Dan and Amber Taylor, embodies that same philosophy. Their team simplifies every step of the Division 08 process by combining hands-on project management with decades of field-proven experience.<\/p>\n<p>For more than 40 years, QMI (originally Quality Management, Inc.) has built a legacy of craftsmanship and reliability in the glazing and construction industry. As a family-owned business, QMI shares Tecfire\u2019s commitment to integrity, long-term relationships, and total accountability from concept through completion. Together, Tecfire and QMI will ensure that Oklahoma customers experience the seamless, end-to-end project management and technical excellence that define both of our brands.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amber Taylor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Amber was born and raised in the glass and glazing industry. She officially began working in the field for her dad in 2019. After gaining experience in take-offs, substitution requests, and submittal services, she moved into a partnership role with her father in. Upon his retirement and the end of 2024, she alongside her husband, Dan, took full ownership. Her father, with his 40 years of industry knowledge, remains a valued resource to QMI. Amber&#8217;s primary focus is developing and expanding relationships with customers and architects. She also assists estimators and project managers both during pre-bid and as soon as a project is awarded. She manages submittals, tracking orders, delivery dates, and all related correspondence. Amber reflects, \u201cMy dad has always taught me to build relationships through integrity, to always be growing my knowledge<strong>,<\/strong> and to be a trusted resource. This partnership with Tecfire will not only allow us to further support our glaziers, but it will also deepen our full-service capabilities in Division 08 for the Oklahoma market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dan Taylor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dan, also grew up in the construction world, working in residential construction with his father before shifting to commercial work upon their ownership of QMI. He brings invaluable field knowledge to QMI. He has seamlessly taken on the key front-end roles of project searching, take-offs, substitution requests, and linking projects to customers. Dan&#8217;s field experience also makes him great at communicating with glaziers, ensuring smooth hand-offs from the project&#8217;s start all the way through installation. This core focus ensures QMI can offer the smooth management support and resource you desire. As Amber adds, \u201cHis mechanical way of thinking, combined with his background, makes him a great resource\u2014not only for preparedness, but for assisting with solutions when needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Powerhouse Partnership for End-to-End Success<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Together, Dan and Amber embody QMI\u2019s unique offering.
