Newly awarded project: CEU University (Madrid)

Tecfire has been awarded with the contract for the fabrication, supply and installation of the fire-rated glass systems for the San Pablo CEU University in Madrid (Spain). Alufire AS85 aluminum systems have been chosen by the client among other products offered by Tecfire during the tendering stage. The fire rating needed for this project is EI 60 (Integrity and Insulation) according to EN standards.

It was officially inaugurated by the Kings of Spain on February 22, 1994. Until 1993, CEU San Pablo University was a teaching center attached to the Complutense University of Madrid. After requesting its recognition before the Ministry of Education and Science and after the mandatory report of the Council of Universities, it was approved by a law published on April 20, 1993, currently having a totally private regime, under Law 8/1993. Its owner is the San Pablo CEU University Foundation, in turn, dependent on the Catholic Association of Propagandists.
