InMadrid Office Building Completed with Steelfire Fire-Rated Systems

Madrid, Spain — The InMadrid Office Building has been successfully completed, integrating high-performance Steelfire fire-rated glazing and door solutions to ensure compliance with stringent fire safety regulations while maintaining a contemporary architectural aesthetic.
The building incorporates 200 square meters of Steelfire EI120 fire-rated curtain wall, providing both Integrity (E) and Insulation (I) for up to 120 minutes.
Technical Highlights:
○ Certified EI120 fire resistance (EN standards)
○ Prevents passage of flames, smoke, and radiant heat
○ Limits temperature rise on the non-fire side
○ Suitable for fire compartmentation in office buildings
○ Supports large glazed areas without compromising safety
○ This system allows architects to maintain visual openness and daylight penetration, even in fire-rated separations.
The project also includes 16 units of double leaf Steelfire Economy EI60 doors, providing 60-minute fire resistance with both integrity and insulation.
○ Technical Highlights:
○ EI60 fire rating (Integrity & Insulation)
○ Double leaf configuration for wider clear openings
○ Designed for high-traffic commercial use
○ Compatible with panic hardware and access control systems
○ Ideal for escape routes, corridors, and fire compartments
○ Designed for Architects and Developers
The fire-rated systems used in the InMadrid Office Building were carefully selected to meet the requirements of architects, developers, and building owners seeking full compliance with European fire safety regulations, flexible design solutions for modern office layouts, long-term durability and performance, and seamless integration with contemporary façade and interior concepts. The successful completion of the project demonstrates how fire-rated glazing and steel door systems can deliver essential life safety and fire compartmentation without compromising architectural intent—an increasingly critical requirement in today’s commercial developments.
