The Y Tower is a residential tower consisting of 28 floors and is located in the prestigious Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. A natural island being developed as a mixed purpose community with both residential and commercial units. TECFIRE will be providing its signature SteelFire fire-rated glass doors and partitions as part of Y Tower’s fire safety planning.
This project is in collaboration with the SEG International Contracting, a large scale international company with several branches in the MENA region.

The project requires fire-rated glass systems to protect everyone in the building in case of fire. With Tecfire’s SteelFire S50/70 EI60 & EI120 Fire-rated Glass Partitions and Double Acting Pivot Door Systems, having tested and certified for 60 minutes and 120 minutes of fire classification EI (Integrity and Insulation), will ensure the safety of the building as well as the patients, professionals in the medical field and everyone else.

Tecguard RC2 is a glass system, comprised of steel and glass, the made for protection against burglary, break-in, and any form of physical intrusion to property. Buildings such as the Mirabaud Bank is susceptible to breaking and entering that is why it is important to plan the construction of the building with protection against burglary in mind. TECFIRE, being experts in Glass Protection Systems, can protect against this type of case wherein the product offers reliable resistance to physical attack towards the property. Tecguard RC Glass Burglar Resistant System is tested and certified as per European standard with RC2 classification – protection against physical violence intrusion attempts, vandalism, kick and jump against the element, personal loads attack, pull out, and in case of closed buildings; the use of different tools such as screw drivers, pliers and wedges. Also, the glass used for this system is fire-rated, for overall safety.
As part of TECFIRE’s process to provide trusted and reliable fire-rated glass safety systems, the company has acquired its certification from SETSCO for Fire Safety Products Certification Scheme. Series of tests were performed through Applus+ Laboratory, one of the primary European laboratories working in fire safety testing and certification, as well as, TÜV SÜD PSB, a service provider for a comprehensive and integrated suite of product testing, inspection, auditing, certification, training, and knowledge services. TECFIRE products are certified with fire classification EN (integrity & insulation) of the European Standard.

Our client Ghantoot Gulf Contracting, the region’s leading construction, development, and service group of companies, granted this project to Tecfire.
Dubai-I Terminal Building is an ongoing project that is part of the Bluewaters Island development by Meeras. As one of Dubai’s best attractions and destinations, the island is where the world’s largest and highest observation wheel with over 210 meters tall.
Tecfire will be providing its AluFire AS85 fire-rated glass window systems with fire classification of EI60 (integrity and insulation in resisting fire for 60 mins), tested and certified as per EN (European) Standard.
Tecfire will provide it’s very first 4-hour Fire-rated Skylight Glass Systems, tested and certified as per EN1364-2 classification – Europen Standard. Tecfire is proud to have acquired such an ambitious collaboration that will require a comprehensively engineered set of fire-rated glass systems to meet the demand of the project.
According to Water Technology, Changi Water Reclamation Plant (CWRP) is a part of a deep tunnel sewerage system (DTSS), which is an important component of Singapore’s water management strategy. It allows every drop of used water to be collected, treated and further purified into NEWater, Singapore’s brand of reclaimed water. Tecfire is very honored to be a part this project that focuses mainly on Singapore’s sustainability development.

The SteelFire STB80 Fire-rated Curtain Wall and Double-Leaf Fire-rated Glass Door Systems will be fabricated and installed in a Pedestrian Bridge project connecting Al Riffa Metro Station and the Mall of Qatar. The curtain wall system from Tecfire’s SteelFire series is excellent for structural stability which makes the possibility to maximize the dimensions of the glazed area. Tested by European (EN) and American (NFPA) Standards with EI Classification ( Integrity and Insulation) for up to 120 minutes.
The Doha Greenline Elevated project, which is a part of Qatar’s rail development project, has awarded Tecfire multiple projects in collaboration with PORR-SBG-HBK joint venture.
