Tecfire provides its Steelfire series for KAIA projects including the STB80 Fire-rated Glass Doors and Fixed Partition Systems. The STB80 is a range of thermal broken fire-rated glass systems with galvanized or stainless steel frames. This also comes with a minimized profile view that guarantees great aesthetic results and a high level of protection even in the most adverse conditions.

The project is about the construction of the new National Space Science and Technology Center and Tecfire will be providing its SteelFire products consisting of various S50/70 Glass Fixed Partition Systems.

S50/70 is a range of non-thermal broken fire-rated glass systems with galvanized or stainless steel frames. These products are withing the SteelFire series, with minimized profiles to guarantee great aesthetic results. Theses fire-rated glass systems are tested and certified to comply with E, EW and EI classifications from 30 up to 240 minutes of fire resistance.

This product is a custom-made fire-rated glass enclosure to safeguard important equipment. The AS85 Double Action Pivot Door System has an access control mechanism that also provides security aside from fire protection.

The project is at the Sorbonne University which the Tecfire installation team has recently completed the installation for fire-rated doors and fixed partition creating the enclosure structure.

Part of Tecfire’s scope of work is to provide unique glass door systems using modern technology in some of the areas at the prestigious Skyview Towers in Dubai. This door system is customized to meet the architect’s demand for a curved glass door system and Tecfire provided a segmented curved with sliding stacking mechanism.

This is a one of a kind glass door solutions for architects that seeks modern application to achieve creativity and sophistication.

Since the beginning, Tecfire has always been prudent in its goal of quality and compliance to standards. All the procedure and certification process to acquire the New CE Marking has come to fruition as all Tecfire fire-rated glass door systems acquired their official certificates.

For a background, starting November 1, 2019, the CE marking of fire doors is mandatory, in accordance with the harmonized standard UNE EN 16034:2015, referring to the required characteristics of fire resistance and smoke control for pedestrian, industrial, commercial, garage, and window doors. The harmonized standard UNE EN 16034 will facilitate transparency and rigor of compliance of the requirements set out therein all states belonging to the European community.

Tecfire fire-rated glass doors products are now CE marking certified. Tecfire has successfully completed the implementation of the certification process consisting of prototypes, tests, manufacturing control inspections by an EU notified body such as Applus+ Laboratories (NB0370).

Tecfire will be providing its S50/70 E120 Fixed Partition System, a fire-rated glazing system that is within the SteelFire product series consisting of various applications of doors, windows, partitions and skylight. The SteelFire series is a range of non-thermal broken fire-rated glass systems with galvanized or stainless steel frames and has minimized profiles for maximized glazing. The series has a wide variety of fire classifications ranging from E (Integrity), EW (Integrity and Radiation Control) to EI (Integrity and Insulation), and with fire-rating of 30 to 240 minutes.

The SteelFire series products are tested under the European Standard (EN) and American Standard (NFPA).

The project is an interior application of an aluminum swing or double action pivot door for Veloqx office located at Sowwah Square in Al Maryah Island Abu Dhabi. An on-going installation is currently in progress for this office and is soon to be completed. This fire-rated glass door system is one of Tecfire’s innovative products that has the slimmest profile in the market, maximum glazed surface and no visible accessories such as door closers, hinges, etc. Specifically designed to provide a 180° opening.

The AluFire Double Action Pivot Glass Door System is tested and certified in accordance with European Standard EN 1634-1 and is approved by UAE Civil Defense.

The new SteelFire S50/70 Automatic Sliding Door System has successfully passed its testing for multiple fire classifications and fire-rating of EI30 (Integrity and Insulation for 30 minutes), EW60 (Integrity and Radiation Control for 60 mins) and E90 (Integrity for 90 minutes).

This new product is a special CMS (Custom-Made-Solutions) door application tested and certified according to European Standard EN 1634-1 that is designed with minimized profiles in galvanized or stainless steel. Various finishes are available from powder coated, polished to brushed. With a system size of 3600mm x 2500mm and door opening of 2000mm x 2500mm.

In addition, this innovative door system has the narrowest profiles on the market, and has been tested with a concealed door closer and with innovative roller band hinges. The aesthetics of these door systems has been vastly improved compared to the competition.
